Beauty and cosmetic industries make millions each year by selling beauty products to women. Some are the same beauty secrets from the kitchen that our mothers and grandmothers have used for years. They are just hyped up and wrapped up in pretty packages that appeal to women.

Check out these inexpensive beauty secrets from the kitchen that often work better and more safely than beauty products we buy. In addition, there were no animals required for testing these.

1-HAIR

Combine an a few tablespoons of olive oil with an egg and one fourth cup cucumber juice. Work into your hair and leave on for about 15 minutes. Rinse well and dry gently.

Apply enough olive oil or mayonnaise to dampen hair. Wrap hair in a very warm towel and leave on for 30 minutes. Wash and rinse well. Allow to dry naturally if possible as dryers do tend to damage and dry out hair.

Add the strained juice of one lemon to four quarts of water. Pour over hair as a final rinse. Allow hair to dry naturally in the sun if possible to bring out natural highlights.

To remove build up of hair spray or gels, mix a teaspoon of baking soda with your shampoo and shampoo as usual. This will leave your hair squeaky clean.

2-FACE

To tone oily skin, apply a mask made of egg white and one-fourth teaspoon lemon juice. Leave on for 15 minutes and rinse with clear water.

For dry skin, make a mixture of one half mashed avocado and one-fourth cup yogurt. Apply to face and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse with clear water and apply a light coat of olive oil. Try grated cucumber as a refreshing way to hydrate dry skin.

Use olive oil daily as a moisturizer to slow down smile lines and age wrinkles. Olive oil will also aid in keeping the skin supple and retaining its elasticity.

Shrink large pores by making a paste of salt and buttermilk. Apply to nose, cheeks, chin, and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse well with cold water and pat dry.

Strawberry masks will aid in removal of blackheads. Mash them and apply to face. Let soak for a few minutes and then gently massage over the skin. Rinse well with warm water.

Use olive oil to remove makeup from dry skin and use yogurt to remove makeup from oily skin. If you are out of these, try whipped butter.

Whip an egg white and apply to skin for 15 minutes. This will tighten and tone the skin and close the pores.

For acne, grate a cucumber and apply to affected areas for 15 minutes, several times a day. Rinse with tepid water and pat face

The make up was always known since ages. No matter it was used for the dramatic purpose or used by a general woman. The earlier characters of the comedy like Cleopatra, Elizabeth and many more used the make up cosmetics made from the vegetables or the animals extracts in order to highlight their features.

The cosmetic industry has shown a remarkable growth in the world around. Indian market is famous all over due to the increased demand of the cosmetic products by the Indian women. In foreign countries, the demand for the anti-aging products is being raised as American women mainly concerned about her health. But when she uses the organic or mineral products, she forgets that every product is made from one or the other chemical and can harm her skin.

According to the demand of cosmetics in the western countries, many makeup companies are in competition and sell their product by campaigning for the free beauty tips that make every woman much aware about the product and its effects. They also show how to accentuate the facial features using those products. Most of the companies offer a discount to some of their products and many offer freebies when you buy a single one. This draws the customer’s attention more towards that company’s product. It is very important to remember that although there are many products free on the purchase of one but you should choose according to your skin type, tone and color to see the remarkable effect.

For doing a particular makeup, the first step involves the cleansing of the face. Also remember, makeup on the oily skin will give a bad impression of your look. Before using any type of makeup, consult the makeup specialist about the after-effect of that so that you can achieve a better look than now. Makeup alone is not sufficient to get the beautiful skin. Rather, it involves proper cleansing and moisturizing regularly. Also, it would be a better idea to consult the dermatologist if you have an allergy or get rashes from any makeup. This is because if you find skin irritation from any product, stop using it in future else your skin might develop blotches on it. It is good to use the organic or natural cosmetic products that may usually do not create irritation.

For the best care for your skin, regular facial is very useful. It does not involve using makeup regularly or going to any clinic for it but it includes the regular cleansing, and toning of the face at least twice a week. Home facial prove to be beneficial for every skin type as the products are the natural ingredients that do not cause any skin problems like acne, pimples. Also, with the products available in the home like cleansing lotion, you can massage your face and make it smooth and shiny. The important thing to remember is that if you have used any makeup around your eyes, always clean it up before sleeping. Make sure that your mascara or liner brush should not be used by others to avoid any irritation.

Are women more attractive without makeup on? – Part 2

I would have to be a bold-faced liar to say that women look better without makeup on. Even though I think that beauty pageants are sexist, and don’t think there should be just one standard of beauty, I do think nevertheless, that makeup can improve any body’s appearance (why do you think they use it on both men and women who appear in film or television?)

First, many women have uneven skin tone. To improve skin tone and also mimic the perfectly clear canvas of youthful skin, like when you were five years old, a foundation can really work wonders. Makeup can also conceal acne, acne scars, and other skin disfigurements like rosacea. No one needs to go out with blemishes or redness from rosacea just for the sake of being “all-natural.” The point of makeup is to enhance the complexion, unless you’re one of the lucky ones who only needs a small dab of powder or something.

Speaking of which, makeup, like pressed powder or loose powder, can absorb and control excess oil for those who have oily skin. Trust me on this, no one looks great with a shiny face that reflects more than the mirror itself does. Yes, it’s true that a little shine can give a youthful glow, but that’s great for older women; younger women don’t want an excess of shine because it tends to look greasy and dirty. Excess oil oxidises on the skin and actually does make the skin look unclean after a while.

Makeup just doesn’t make us look better, it’s practical too! Products with SPF protect our skin from the sun; lip glosses can do this too, while also comforting the delicate skin of the lips. Chapped, flaky, peeling lips are so uncomfortable and really nasty looking! A little balm or gloss can work wonders, and if it has a hint of colour too, why not? It will make your lips glow in a natural, healthy-looking way.

Makeup doesn’t only serve aesthetic purposes, it can be beneficial for women who have dry skin too. Makeup with moisturisers works for those who have the opposite of oily skin, that is, skin that is dry, flaky, and prone to dehydration. There are many makeup products that are highly emollient and can help the skin retain moisture throughout the day.

Women who don’t wear makeup may be trying to make a statement, but it’s often a wasted one. Makeup can be your friend, you just have to trust in it a little. As I said, I don’t think anyone looks better without makeup, even some men are starting to use makeup now too.

Women give more attention to their physical aspects. They are conscious about their beauty. It has been said that in order to look more beautiful, a woman must know how to take care of her self. In order to do so, there are beauty products that were made to make it easy for her to preserve her beauty.

No wonder why there are so many beauty products for sale where ever you will go. Notice that every now and then, different beauty products are being produced by different companies and brands with different promises. But what are those beauty products most admire by women thinking that there are so many beauty products were being produced and made?

I made my own list of beauty products that I admire excluding the brand names. So here it goes:

Let me start with facial foams, toners and moisturizer. These beauty products never ever miss out of my everyday routine. Facial foams and toners are best to eliminates dirt while moisturizer is readily absorb under the facial skin, leaving the surface area soft and nurtured

Facial powder is next on my list. Most of us have oily skin is it not? I notice that if I do not apply facial powder, my face gets oily and tight. Facial powder helps my face look fresh and of course oil free.

Lip gloss and lipstick are two of the beauty products that I admire when it comes to my lips. I usually use them together. Applying both of them add my lips moisture and looks as beautiful as ever.

While blush on, eye shadows, eye liner, eye lash curler and mascara are beauty products fro my cheek and eyes. They are the ones that make my eyes and cheek more attractive to look.

Next in line is my moisture rich lotion with Vitamin E. Dry skin will never make you look beautiful! Vitamin E is one great source to relieve dryness of the skin and antioxidant to protect your cells against the effects of free radicals, which are potentially damaging by-products of energy metabolism.

Mild shampoo and conditioner best products for hair. These products always keep my hair from dryness and make my scalp dandruff free. Applying shampoo alone makes my hair stiff and dry. I take shower everyday and in order to avoid my hair from drying, I always apply conditioner.

End of list. So those are my favorite beauty products. I am sure you have your favorite too. There is really nothing wrong using beauty products but just make sure not to over use them. Choose a product that is soothe for your skin type. If possible, use products that are hypo allergenic.
